The chipboard industry (also known as folding carton and paperboard) plays a vital role in environmental sustainability. Â There are many ways in which our customers go green with their chipboard packaging. One of those ways would be to use recycled starting board as well as staying away from a high shine finish.
If a chipboard box is made efficiently, it will have less of a carbon footprint. Â What we mean by effieciency, is that we seek to put the right box on the right machine in the right place. Â We are not tied to using just one manufacturer, thus we will take your box and make sure it is being run as locally as possible to reduce carbon emissions from freight. Â We will also use machines set up for short runs (500-5,000 boxes), medium runs (5,000-25,000), and large runs (25,000 and up). Â This helps keep costs down by lowering the amount of time, money, and energy it takes to run the chipboard boxes.
