Polypropylene

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer and can be used for many different packaging uses: food packaging, lab equipment, car components, and textile products and packaging.  This plastic is resistant to chemical solvents, bases and acids.  It is much less brittle than your standard HDPE packaging.  PP also has a low fatigue factor, so the majority of plastic hinges used in packaging are made from polypropylene.
