Peek Packaging brings the world of mock-ups in-house and says hello to lighting fast physical demos aiding in the client decision making process with actual renderings of their packaging needs.
In an effort to keep up with today’s changing marketplace, Peek Packaging has purchased a large format printer specifically for the design and production of full color physical mock-ups of set up boxes, chipboard boxes, corrugated boxes and various other packaging modalities for use as prototypes in client presentations and marketing materials. These mock-ups and prototypes will prove to be invaluable tools for use in sales presentations, customer focus groups, and for visual and spatial grasping of product ideas for the customer.
Peek Packaging’s new Rolland VersaUV LEC-540 printer outputs digital prints on a variety of proofing stocks including litho sheets, label stock, and chipboard in a variety of calipers and sizes; making this printer appropriate for a wide range of project applications including set up boxes, chipboard boxes and other packaging examples.
The Rolland uses UV inks that can accommodate 4 color process plus white and clear at it’s coating station, which includes aqueous, gloss UV, and spot UV. These coatings can be used alone or in tandem with each other to create striking packaging that stands out among the rest.
In conjunction with the Rolland printer, Peek Packaging has also purchased a Graphtec Cad Table, which is used for die cutting customer’s products. Die-cut and printed mock-ups enable customers to post images to their website to begin selling and creating buzz surrounding their product before ever having to go into production.
